Weight Loss Shakes

Hello!

My name is Bill Anderson and I’ll be perfectly honest with you… I’m not a big fan of dieting. I’m 49 years old and I’ve only tried two diets in my life – the low carb diet and the diet where you have to eat something every 3 hours (I forgot the details or name of that one). I did lose weight on both diets but about a year later I gained it all back. Why? Because I like to eat great tasting food. I like BBQ, french fries, baked macaroni, corn on the cob, desert, sweet tea, well… you get the idea! I like just about everything. I’m not going to stop eating for the rest of my life – that’s ridiculous to even think about much less ask a person to do like all these crazy diets ask of their participants.

But what I might do is replace one meal a day with delicious weight loss shakes! And that is what I am trying right now. I have to eat my breakfast and drink my OJ in the morning and I love eating a full dinner at night, but those sandwiches and nasty potato chips for lunch, I can do without. So… that’s the meal I am replacing with the weight loss shakes. And the weight loss shakes even taste better than most of the sandwiches I usually have… grilled cheese, peanut butter & jelly, ham & cheese, etc.

The weight loss shakes I am using are from a company called Visalus. The basic mix is not flavored but rather reminds me of a white cake mix. Smells just like a freshly baked pound cake. What’s nice about the neutral flavor is it can be mixed with just about anything… orange juice, low fat milk, vanilla soy milk, chocolate soy milk, etc. The first drink I ever tasted was made with chocolate soy milk and a little peanut butter – it tasted just like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

Of course, they have some great other products in addition to their weight loss shakes like a line of vitamins, a healthy energy drink, mix-in flavors that have extra nutrition added in like their Peach Complexion Care, a metabolism boosting system, a hunger fighter mix, a nutritional cookie, and some cool mints that help control those pesky cravings. All of this is backed by a company which is now owned by the corporate giant Blyth who is dedicated to financing the top notch scientific research that goes into Visalus’ unique patented products.

I’ll tell you another little tidbit about myself… I’m an internet and direct mail expert who knows a thing or two about Direct Marketing. Even with their great products, I would have passed on this company if they had a binary compensation plan. I hate those things! I have a BS Degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Math and I can’t figure out binaries! They seem to be designed to make the companies rich and not the distributors. Visalus’ compensation plan is a very simple Unilevel plan with compression. A two year old could understand it. They have some nice bonuses too like their Bimmer Club which is fairly easy to qualify for and pays $600 a month if you drive a black BMW.

Enough for now… I’ll keep you posted on my progress with the weight loss shakes. In the meantime, I encourage you to look at Visalus yourself. Just visit bodybyvi.com for all the details.

3 week results…

Hello Everybody!

I weighed myself yesterday after 3 weeks of drinking one shake a day and I lost 2 lbs! That may not sound like a lot, but if you consider that I wasn’t even trying real hard to lose weight, it’s pretty good. Consider…

  • I only drink one shake a day and at least once a week I didn’t drink any.
  • I eat a normal breakfast and dinner.
  • I didn’t hardly exercise at all during this time – just a few days of doing chores around the house.
  • I weighed myself AFTER Christmas dinner and after eating leftovers the next Sunday afternoon.

If this keeps up, I’ll lose the next 18 lbs in about 6 months. I’ll take that deal all day long!

Sincerely,
Bill Anderson

Weight Loss Resolutions

Hello:

Here’s some good advice at the beginning of the New Year when just about everybody and their Uncle has a New Year’s resolution to lose weight…

  • Start small – Too many people set goals like “to lose 50 lbs in one month”. That’s not the way to do it – it’s better to set more attainable goals and gradually incorporate the necessary lifestyle changes into your daily routine. You want your weight loss goals to be realistic and attainable, but more importantly – sustainable.
  • Jump off the bandwagon – Don’t follow the latest fad diet of the month. On the other hand, simple eat well balanced meals that are healthy. Smart food choices is the key.
  • Throw in some exercise – Ease into some exercise programs. Do something you enjoy for exercise… gardening, mowing lawns, walking, walking the dog, use the treadmill and watch TV, etc. Again… set exercise goals that are realistic, attainable, and sustainable. So… don’t go out and run 5 miles a daybecause that’s going to get old real quick (unless you love to jog)!
  • Drink Water – Water is healthy for you… it flushes out toxins, keeps you hydrated, replaces drinks with calories with zero calories, and reduces hunger pangs. If you are feeling tired, add a little Neuro Energy Drink to your water for a delicious, refreshing, and healthy “pick me up”.

Sincerely,
Bill Anderson

Weight Loss for Heart Health

Hello:heart health

Did you know that February is Heart Health month?

And… one of the best ways to improve your heart health is to lose weight. Other ways to improve your heart health are to quit smoking, keep away from second hand smoke, get the proper nutrition, drink alcohol in moderation, exercise more, maybe start an aspirin regimen, and avoid stress.

Sincerely,
Bill Anderson

60 Day Results

Hello:

Well… so far on this “non-diet”, I lost 8 lbs. This is during the months of December and January. During that time, I might have exercised twice and did about 3 work projects around the house. I ate a regulaVisalus Vi-Slim Metab-Awaker breakfast of a bowl of cereal and a glass of OJ. I basically ate all of anything I wanted for dinner. And I ate my regular desert around 9:00 PM.

In order to be eligible for the 90 day challenge prizes, I must lose another 12 lbs in February. So… I’ll do a little walking and get some exercise doing some work projects around the house. I’m confident the 12 lbs will come off easy enough. Do you see how Visalus’ online goal setting and 90 day challenge motivates you to lose the weight? I’m not going to miss out on the chance to win a cruise!

I have also added Vi-Slim Metab-Awake to my daily routine. It’s a simple pill that contains some herbs like cocoa extract, green tea extract, coleus extract, yerba mate extract, and evodiamine extract which is supposed to help you burn fat and boost metabolism. For all the details on Vi-Slim, read the sell sheet here.

Sincerely,
Bill Anderson

P.S. I forgot to mention that in addition to losing 8 lbs in 60 days, I can see a noticable reduction of “belly fat” and my “love handles” have all but disappeared!
